Kangal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sinan Akçakıl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mirza Aktar got free with Batıhan Cabir in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But to his dismay, Atak Totuk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Özgür Yağızbay took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Batıhan Cabir to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Sinan Akçakıl took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Batıhan Cabir to make any attempt to save it. Sinan Akçakıl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özgür Yağızbay to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kangal! The goalkeeper, Erman Namık, was totally fooled by AdanaDemirSpor's Sertaç İltemir, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 60 played minutes AdanaDemirSpor got a freekick which was hit by Engin Civanbaht. In the 63rd minute, Mirza Aktar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Batıhan Cabir was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Atak Totuk took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Batıhan Cabir. Batıhan Cabir dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Mirza Aktar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batıhan Cabir having to interfere. Bilgin Şanalp struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Batıhan Cabir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kangal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Mirza Aktar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kangal's supporters rose to their feet, but Mirza Aktar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Batıhan Cabir breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the match, AdanaDemirSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Sinan Akçakıl came free, but Batıhan Cabir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the AdanaDemirSpor defense, Mirza Aktar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Batıhan Cabir. The AdanaDemirSpor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Batıhan Cabir should have stopped the shot. Bilgin Şanalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batıhan Cabir having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kangal fully deserved thier win.
