If Ferman Ağın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kerimhan Artuç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Behçet Olgaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Asım Eldemir in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Behçet Olgaç saved Kestel from getting behind. Atabek Coşkuner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Vatan Aktaşlıoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferman Ağın could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Vatan Aktaşlıoğlu made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kerimhan Artuç to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Gülsehir getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. After 63 played minutes Gülsehir got a freekick which was hit by Özen Onsoy. Behçet Olgaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerimhan Artuç in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, Kestel's Behçet Olgaç got control of the ball when Asım Eldemir tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Gülsehir getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Özen Onsoy hit a great ball. Ferman Ağın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vatan Aktaşlıoğlu having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kestel fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gülsehir had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
