The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Güray Boyraz during the 4th minute. With a little luck, BTD's Cihan Yanal got control of the ball when Ahmet Koralp Civanbaht tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kamber Kemal charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kamber Kemal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kayhan Taşel in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salih Duman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to BTD getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Demiralp Demir hit a great ball. Cihan Yanal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göktuğ Keykubad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göktuğ Keykubad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Cihan Yanal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes BTD got a freekick which was hit by Hamdullah Yiğitcan. Cihan Yanal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Koralp Civanbaht in the 40th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a little luck, Artvin SK's Salih Duman got control of the ball when Hamdullah Yiğitcan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hamdullah Yiğitcan kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match.
