Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Soner Taşan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Arif Nihat Tarık made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alaaddin Ekinci in the 11th minute of play. When Alaaddin Ekinci came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Bayraktepe Gençlikspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alaaddin Ekinci couldn't finish the play. Ataol Siddik was a little too slow when Soner Taşan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. With a little luck, Bayraktepe Gençlikspor's Ataol Siddik got control of the ball when Bayındır Rafet tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Öztürk İhsan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Van fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Soner Taşan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ataol Siddik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bayraktepe Gençlikspor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Soner Taşan scored to the left of an out of position Ataol Siddik, making the score, 3-0. The supporters of Bayraktepe Gençlikspor booed when Van was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bayındır Rafet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aziz Olcay struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ataol Siddik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Van. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ilgaz Cesur to strike the kick off in the second half. Soner Taşan's late challenge caught a Bayraktepe Gençlikspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Soner Taşan helped the player get up and apologised. Bayraktepe Gençlikspor's Ilgaz Cesur got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bayındır Rafet during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes Van got a freekick which was hit by Bayındır Rafet. Alaaddin Ekinci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arif Nihat Tarık made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilgaz Cesur in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Bayraktepe Gençlikspor booed when Van was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bayındır Rafet didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes Bayraktepe Gençlikspor got a freekick which was hit by Erkut Zabit. Alaaddin Ekinci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cüneyt Balbay hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Van's Soner Taşan got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bayraktepe Gençlikspor's Erkut Zabit got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ataol Siddik came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Van's Aziz Olcay. But to his dismay, Aziz Olcay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Ataol Siddik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soner Taşan in the 90th minute of the match. Van's Bayındır Rafet got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Bayındır Rafet off the ground. Bayındır Rafet kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Arif Nihat Tarık was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Alaaddin Ekinci capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alaaddin Ekinci really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. Van's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
