Spectators: 6649 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 0) Mehmet Hakkı Tulunay made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 6thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Rafettin İğdemir would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Mehmet Hakkı Tulunay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafettin İğdemir having to interfere. Mehmet Hakkı Tulunay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rafettin İğdemir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Umur Neba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Öndergücü SK booed when Denizlispor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Reha Sabit didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute Koray Yuvakuran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fazıl Atasoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Denizlispor's Karahan Taşkesen got a free kick in the 16th minute. Fazıl Atasoy came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Denizlispor's Koray Yuvakuran. But to his dismay, Koray Yuvakuran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Koray Yuvakuran came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Denizlispor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koray Yuvakuran couldn't finish the play. If Koray Yuvakuran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İsa Sururi's late challenge caught a Denizlispor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The wind increased when Orhan Geylani made the kick off in the second half. Mehmet Hakkı Tulunay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Öndergücü SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gökalp Erzincanlı ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gökalp Erzincanlı got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fazıl Atasoy quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Öndergücü SK's zone, Atıf Berksan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fazıl Atasoy came out of the goal and Atıf Berksan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Koray Yuvakuran was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Denizlispor's Karahan Taşkesen got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87thth minute of the game Orhan Geylani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denizlispor's Rafettin İğdemir was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Denizlispor's Karahan Taşkesen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eray Hececi, made in the 94th minute of the game. Denizlispor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
