The audience thought a goal was coming when Korkutalp Ekincioğlu got free with Adil Kıvılcım in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Çakır Balıkçı came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Gevas JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çakır Balıkçı couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Tuncer Canbek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gevas JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tuncer Canbek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adil Kıvılcım breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gevas JK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
