The audience was convinced that Boğaç Balısoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peyami Sarper was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Can Tekinsoy during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Can Tekinsoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Balikesir's goal looked a bit too open when Boğaç Balısoy came free, but Peyami Sarper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Balikesir's Peyami Sarper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boğaç Balısoy in the 41st minute of play. If Mustafa Haydar Tuğsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mustafa Haydar Tuğsan came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Eskil SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Haydar Tuğsan couldn't finish the play. With his leg Peyami Sarper managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Eskil SK's Mustafa Haydar Tuğsan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Peyami Sarper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boğaç Balısoy in the 48th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özcan Reyyan to strike the kick off in the second half. Peyami Sarper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boğaç Balısoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Balikesir's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Haydar Tuğsan came free, but Peyami Sarper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eralp Tanaltay's late challenge caught a Eskil SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eralp Tanaltay helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Eskil SK booed when Balikesir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eralp Tanaltay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Onur Ali Türkyılmaz kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Mustafa Haydar Tuğsan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peyami Sarper came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Eskil SK's Boğaç Balısoy. But to his dismay, Boğaç Balısoy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 66 minutes into the match, Balikesir's goal looked a bit too open when Boğaç Balısoy came free, but Peyami Sarper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Haydar Tuğsan in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peyami Sarper prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69 played minutes Balikesir got a freekick which was hit by Serdar Sağun. Mustafa Haydar Tuğsan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. In the 87th minute Mustafa Haydar Tuğsan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peyami Sarper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peyami Sarper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boğaç Balısoy in the 89th minute of the match. Boğaç Balısoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peyami Sarper having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Baha Ayalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peyami Sarper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boğaç Balısoy in the 94th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Eskil SK had played much better football throughout.
