During the 27th minute of the match Münir Ogün completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Münir Ogün a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 27th minute, Münir Ogün hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Korcan Tükelay struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Ceyhan Peker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kahta. When Korcan Tükelay came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Kahta fans jumped to their feet. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Korcan Tükelay took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Ceyhan Peker to make any attempt to save it. Ceyhan Peker made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Abdulkerim Secahat sent off a good shot on target. The Kahta fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Kahta's Abdulkerim Secahat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rüstem Üçer hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Ceyhan Peker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdulkerim Secahat in the 75th minute. Gökcan İzgü charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gökcan İzgü the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hatayspor's Gökcan İzgü got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The Hatayspor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kahta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
