Bodrum's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Ahmet Ozan Ünverdi scored to the left of an out of position Bahadırhan Baytüze, making the score, 1-0. Samir Tanak hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Hayati Özek tried in the 41st minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Bahadırhan Baytüze a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-0. In the 44th minute, Yalçın Aliyar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tuğrul Başkaynak kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 46thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Bodrum's keeper Bahadırhan Baytüze was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ahmet Ozan Ünverdi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Iznik's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Ozan Ünverdi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bahadırhan Baytüze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
