Alkan Başeski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ahmet Ege Türe made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in NOVA UNİTED's zone, Tuğrul Başkaynak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Müfit Eren came out of the goal and Tuğrul Başkaynak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Kaan İmruz kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Seyfettin Avcıoğlu's late challenge caught a Iznik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Seyfettin Avcıoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feyyaz Murathan in the 94th minute of play forced Iznik's goalkeeper Ahmet Ege Türe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mansur Özerdim fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NOVA UNİTED's protests and gave Mansur Özerdim a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched NOVA UNİTED eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
