The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The attack was good, but when Alp Togay in the 5th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Mustafa Namık Elhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Battal Gazi Acaroğlu having to interfere. Avcilar FK's Alp Togay got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alp Togay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Battal Gazi Acaroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alp Togay in the 20th minute of play. Alp Togay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Battal Gazi Acaroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Akif Yekta hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Muhittin İlkim came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Black Eagle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Muhittin İlkim couldn't finish the play. Black Eagle's Battal Gazi Acaroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alp Togay in the 40th minute of play. Alp Togay struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Battal Gazi Acaroğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avcilar FK. Battal Gazi Acaroğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alp Togay, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

53 minutes into the match, Black Eagle's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Namık Elhan came free, but Battal Gazi Acaroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Necip Isfahanlı charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 70th minute, Alp Togay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Alp Togay put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Battal Gazi Acaroğlu. Alp Togay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Battal Gazi Acaroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Battal Gazi Acaroğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Namık Elhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Muhittin İlkim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Mustafa Hamit Barkan made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Muhittin İlkim during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Black Eagle's Muhittin İlkim got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the game, Muhittin İlkim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mustafa Hamit Barkan. Muhittin İlkim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Avcilar FK were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Black Eagle to leave the ground with a draw.
