But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Müslüm Sanal couldn't finish the play. Süleyman Süngü was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Mtyholi:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nisantasi:s goal. Enes Torgay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Bilge Serhun having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anıl Sebukalp to strike the kick off in the second half. Nisantasi's Arif Bilge Serhun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Nisantasi from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Mtyholi's Hasan Ali Tanyol got a free kick in the 56th minute. Arif Bilge Serhun came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mtyholi's Enes Torgay. But to his dismay, Enes Torgay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 66th minute, Hasan Ali Tanyol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ertaç Sartık came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Mtyholi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ertaç Sartık couldn't finish the play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
