Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kurtuluşspor's Resulhan Nursal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bilge Kağan Recep hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Kurtuluşspor's Ahmet Kutsi Hünkar got a free kick in the 12th minute. Ahmet İlke Onursan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alphan Adalıoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Ergincan Kudsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sezgin Uğursay, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, one of Zeytinburnu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zeytinburnu. In the 25th match minute, Kurtuluşspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Kutsi Hünkar to maneuver through the defense. Sezgin Uğursay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Resulhan Nursal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alphan Adalıoğlu having to interfere. Zeytinburnu's Alphan Adalıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Resulhan Nursal in the 35th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Zeytinburnu's Sezgin Uğursay ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ergincan Kudsi. Ergincan Kudsi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Zeytinburnu's Alphan Adalıoğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet İlke Onursan in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sezgin Uğursay made a kick off. Ahmet Kutsi Hünkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th minute, Sezgin Uğursay made a precise shot to the right of Ergincan Kudsi. Kurtuluşspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Zeytinburnu's zone, Çağatay Bahadır stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ergincan Kudsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sezgin Uğursay in the 90th minute of play. Many of Kurtuluşspor's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Kurtuluşspor may have spent more time on the ball, but Zeytinburnu were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
