GAZİANTEPBB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Etimesgut's Mustafa Yaşar Eren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eren Baykan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Yiğit Can Lami cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eren Baykan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mazhar Taşkesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eren Baykan having to interfere. After some careless play in the GAZİANTEPBB defense, Mustafa Yaşar Eren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eren Baykan. The GAZİANTEPBB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eren Baykan should have stopped the shot. Eren Baykan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Yaşar Eren in the 26th minute of play. Etimesgut's Kartal Özveren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Etimesgut from getting a goal against them. Yiğit Can Lami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yiğit Can Lami was the one to do the kick off. Eren Baykan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mustafa Yaşar Eren's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Kartal Özveren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yavuz Bülent Kutlu in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Yavuz Bülent Kutlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kartal Özveren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eren Baykan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustafa Yaşar Eren in the 68th minute. Mustafa Yaşar Eren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustafa Yaşar Eren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Eren Baykan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emin Aktaşlı during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of GAZİANTEPBB booed when Etimesgut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mazhar Taşkesen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Mustafa Yaşar Eren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eren Baykan.
