Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seyhan Mennan during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aksoy's Şevket Tümay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Aksoy from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Baran Alp Fırat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aksoy's supporters rose to their feet, but Baran Alp Fırat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eren Baykan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to GAZİANTEPBB getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gencalp Yavuzcan hit a great ball. Baran Alp Fırat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eren Baykan having to interfere. Mehmet Hamdi Demirci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şevket Tümay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. If Yavuz Bülent Kutlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aksoy's Beyhan Orhon got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yavuz Bülent Kutlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baran Alp Fırat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Eren Baykan made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, Beyhan Orhon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Beyhan Orhon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Beyhan Orhon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eren Baykan, passed just outside the right post. If Mehmet Hamdi Demirci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, GAZİANTEPBB's Gencalp Yavuzcan got a free kick in the 99th minute. GAZİANTEPBB were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
