Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cat's Levent Akova started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Levent Akova scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of İbrahim Hanefi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cat's Sungurbey Başeskioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Müslüm Uluşahin in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Müslüm Uluşahin in the 11th minute of play forced Cat's goalkeeper Sungurbey Başeskioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 minutes, Vural Işıldar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cat and the Hayrat FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cat! When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Hayrat FK's Tanju Kongur got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sungurbey Başeskioğlu. Sungurbey Başeskioğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Resulhan Tanju in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Anıl Berk Tuyuğ shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İbrahim Hanefi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Resulhan Tanju made a precise shot to the right of Sungurbey Başeskioğlu. Cat's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Resulhan Tanju received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sungurbey Başeskioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cat's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Müslüm Uluşahin scored to the left of an out of position Sungurbey Başeskioğlu, making the score, 3-1. In the 32nd play minute Resulhan Tanju came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sungurbey Başeskioğlu. 4-1. Müslüm Uluşahin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sungurbey Başeskioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Resulhan Tanju got free with Sungurbey Başeskioğlu in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute Müslüm Uluşahin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sungurbey Başeskioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Cat's goal looked a bit too open when Müslüm Uluşahin came free, but Sungurbey Başeskioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Müslüm Uluşahin made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Cat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İlbey Işıker to maneuver through the defense. Müslüm Uluşahin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sungurbey Başeskioğlu having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Lefter Toygar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cat and the Hayrat FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lefter Toygar hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Resulhan Tanju sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Resulhan Tanju left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hayrat FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Anıl Berk Tuyuğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İlkan Özal hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Sungurbey Başeskioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Resulhan Tanju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Rüştü Şimşektürk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Resulhan Tanju scored 6-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sungurbey Başeskioğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Müslüm Uluşahin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hayrat FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Müslüm Uluşahin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sungurbey Başeskioğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Resulhan Tanju came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Hayrat FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Resulhan Tanju couldn't finish the play. Müslüm Uluşahin took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sungurbey Başeskioğlu. Sungurbey Başeskioğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. There was no doubt that Hayrat FK were the better team. Hayrat FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
