Resulhan Tanju received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Günay Aydıntan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Resulhan Tanju took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Günay Aydıntan. Günay Aydıntan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Resulhan Tanju's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Günay Aydıntan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Yeni Mahalle SK's goal looked a bit too open when Müslüm Uluşahin came free, but Günay Aydıntan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Müslüm Uluşahin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cahit Gence during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cahit Gence hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Yasin Mesut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 39 minutes, Mehmet Şefik Şerhenk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yeni Mahalle SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehmet Şefik Şerhenk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Günay Aydıntan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Müslüm Uluşahin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Resulhan Tanju sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Müslüm Uluşahin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Müslüm Uluşahin made a kick off. If Resulhan Tanju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Yeni Mahalle SK's zone, Resulhan Tanju stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Günay Aydıntan came out of the goal and Resulhan Tanju tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Günay Aydıntan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Müslüm Uluşahin, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Müslüm Uluşahin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Günay Aydıntan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, Yeni Mahalle SK's goalkeeper Günay Aydıntan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Resulhan Tanju. After 75 minutes, Mehmet Şefik Şerhenk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yeni Mahalle SK and the Hayrat FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Yeni Mahalle SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Şefik Şerhenk to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, Yeni Mahalle SK's goal looked a bit too open when Resulhan Tanju came free, but Günay Aydıntan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Resulhan Tanju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Günay Aydıntan having to interfere. The Yeni Mahalle SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hayrat FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
