Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Levent Akova started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Fikret Özden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sungurbey Başeskioğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 11th minute Mehmet Efe Algın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sungurbey Başeskioğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İlbey Işıker's late challenge caught a MumcuGençlik's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İlbey Işıker helped the player get up and apologised. Hidayet Şahin's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Sungurbey Başeskioğlu - 0-2 was put on the score board in the 14th minute. Atıf Oray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Levent Akova, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sungurbey Başeskioğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehmet Efe Algın's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 24th match minute, Cat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lefter Toygar to maneuver through the defense. Sungurbey Başeskioğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehmet Efe Algın went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Fikret Özden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sungurbey Başeskioğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Sungurbey Başeskioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Efe Algın in the 33rd minute of play. When Fikret Özden came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the MumcuGençlik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fikret Özden couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fikret Özden made a kick off. Mehmet Efe Algın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fikret Özden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sungurbey Başeskioğlu having to interfere. Sungurbey Başeskioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Efe Algın in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MumcuGençlik's Eren Vakkasoğlu got a free kick in the 59th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Cat's goal looked a bit too open when Fikret Özden came free, but Sungurbey Başeskioğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cat's Sungurbey Başeskioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fikret Özden in the 72nd minute of play. Fikret Özden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of MumcuGençlik booed when Cat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yakup Olgunay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lefter Toygar kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. A hard shot by Hidayet Şahin from long distance, 78 minutes into the match, got Sungurbey Başeskioğlu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Fikret Özden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 82 minutes, Yakup Olgunay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cat and the MumcuGençlik players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yakup Olgunay kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. İldeniz Beysan hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When Fikret Özden came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the MumcuGençlik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fikret Özden couldn't finish the play. MumcuGençlik's Mehmet Efe Algın got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sungurbey Başeskioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fikret Özden in the 92nd minute of the match. Temel Tümel kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Cat's Sungurbey Başeskioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fikret Özden in the 96th minute of play.
