The referee showed Tacettin Tunalı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hayrat FK's Rüştü Şimşektürk got a free kick in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Rahim Egin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altintas FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hayrat FK the free kick. Rahim Egin hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Hayrat FK's Müslüm Uluşahin got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Müslüm Uluşahin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Resulhan Tanju came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Hayrat FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Resulhan Tanju couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rıfat Türkoğlu to strike the kick off in the second half. Hayrat FK's Resulhan Tanju got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rıfat Türkoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İbrahim Hanefi having to interfere. After 59 minutes of play Altintas FK's Rahim Egin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 60th minute, Rahim Egin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tanju Kongur took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Deniz Kocaman. Altintas FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Hayrat FK's Resulhan Tanju sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Deniz Kocaman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Resulhan Tanju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Altintas FK's Rıfat Türkoğlu got a free kick in the 77th minute. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Altintas FK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tanju Kongur was slow to take the kick. During this time Hayrat FK's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Hayrat FK's Şevket Ersezer getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 83rd minute, Müslüm Uluşahin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Müslüm Uluşahin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deniz Kocaman having to interfere. Deniz Kocaman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Müslüm Uluşahin's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Resulhan Tanju received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Deniz Kocaman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
