Vanspor FK's Birant Tavil saw an opening behind the goalie Vecdet Tunçdağ in the 13thth minute and tried to shoot past into the top right corner, but with great reflexes Vecdet Tunçdağ with one arm managed to save the shot in the last secound. Celal Kılıçer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayezit Bekiroğlu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Cebrail Lemi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vanspor FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Cebrail Lemi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vecdet Tunçdağ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Birant Tavil struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Vecdet Tunçdağ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vanspor FK. After 26 played minutes B.Bağı Sk. got a freekick which was hit by Aktuğ Horasan. Birant Tavil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bayezit Bekiroğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Başar Zeki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Vecdet Tunçdağ managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Vanspor FK's Gencer Alptekin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. B.Bağı Sk.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Birant Tavil 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 47 minutes into the game, Gencer Alptekin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vanspor FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave B.Bağı Sk. the free kick. In the 47th minute, Gencer Alptekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Başar Zeki made a kick off. Cebrail Lemi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vecdet Tunçdağ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Birant Tavil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vecdet Tunçdağ having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birant Tavil in the 63rd minute of play forced B.Bağı Sk.'s goalkeeper Vecdet Tunçdağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Cebrail Lemi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vecdet Tunçdağ was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Cebrail Lemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Vecdet Tunçdağ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vanspor FK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
