İldeniz Ulualp took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ali Çağrı Ongay. Cemaller fk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gürsel Özertem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Nazil Tatar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kerem Erseç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Cemaller fk defense, Ferit Tezeren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ali Çağrı Ongay. The Cemaller fk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ali Çağrı Ongay should have stopped the shot. Resul Onatsu charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Resul Onatsu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cemaller fk booed when Kumkapi FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Resul Onatsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ayvaz Kayıboylu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Nazil Tatar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Naim Korur kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Nazil Tatar was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Gürsel Özertem capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gürsel Özertem really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kerem Erseç in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Çağrı Ongay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Kerem Erseç made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Cemaller fk's Ayvaz Kayıboylu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nazil Tatar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Gürsel Özertem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nazil Tatar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ayvaz Kayıboylu in the 87th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kerem Erseç in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Çağrı Ongay saved Cemaller fk from getting behind. Ferit Tezeren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Ali Çağrı Ongay made a huge save. In the 91st minute, Ayvaz Kayıboylu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Gürsel Özertem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cemaller fk's supporters rose to their feet, but Gürsel Özertem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nazil Tatar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kumkapi FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cemaller fk.
