Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cebrail Lemi in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hayrettin Burçhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute Birant Tavil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayrettin Burçhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Birant Tavil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Hayrettin Burçhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Cebrail Lemi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vanspor FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cebrail Lemi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Ferhusspor FK's goal looked a bit too open when Birant Tavil came free, but Hayrettin Burçhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Birant Tavil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dursun Yetiş charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dursun Yetiş the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Vanspor FK got a freekick which was hit by Dursun Yetiş. Bayezit Bekiroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okanalp Tolgunay in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Bozkurt Canberk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferhusspor FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vanspor FK the free kick. Bozkurt Canberk kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Ahmet Korcan Kızılaslan succeeded in the game's 38th minute to get real power on a long shot . Ferhusspor FK's Hayrettin Burçhan hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-1! Gürol Bedel charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Birant Tavil to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ferhusspor FK's goal looked a bit too open when Birant Tavil came free, but Hayrettin Burçhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Birant Tavil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vanspor FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. If Birant Tavil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cebrail Lemi came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Vanspor FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cebrail Lemi couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Vanspor FK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ferhusspor FK throughout the match.
