In the 4th minute, Coşkun Utku reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bayezit Bekiroğlu. The goal made the score 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Vanspor FK's goal looked a bit too open when Hüseyin Can Baytekin came free, but Bayezit Bekiroğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bayezit Bekiroğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüseyin Can Baytekin in the 26th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hüseyin Can Baytekin in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bayezit Bekiroğlu saved Vanspor FK from getting behind. After 29 played minutes Vanspor FK got a freekick which was hit by Gürol Bedel. After 31 minutes, Gürol Bedel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vanspor FK and the trabzonspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gürol Bedel kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Ahmet Fikret Yiğiter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birant Tavil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Coşkun Utku's late challenge caught a Vanspor FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Coşkun Utku helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Coşkun Utku hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hüseyin Can Baytekin to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Can Baytekin in the 51st minute of play forced Vanspor FK's goalkeeper Bayezit Bekiroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, trabzonspor's Coşkun Utku got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Necmettin Rahmi struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Bayezit Bekiroğlu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for trabzonspor. Bayezit Bekiroğlu came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by trabzonspor's Hüseyin Can Baytekin. But to his dismay, Hüseyin Can Baytekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Coşkun Utku received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bayezit Bekiroğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hüseyin Can Baytekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Fikret Yiğiter was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Cebrail Lemi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cebrail Lemi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Hüseyin Can Baytekin scored 3-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bayezit Bekiroğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hüseyin Can Baytekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. In the 89thth minute of the game Hüseyin Can Baytekin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vanspor FK's Bayezit Bekiroğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Necmettin Rahmi charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Necmettin Rahmi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, trabzonspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necmettin Rahmi to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes trabzonspor got a freekick which was hit by Necmettin Rahmi. With a little luck, trabzonspor's Ahmet Fikret Yiğiter got control of the ball when Cebrail Lemi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The trabzonspor fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when trabzonspor's Hüseyin Can Baytekin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. trabzonspor's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
