Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Tarkan Yetişbey made the kick off and thus started the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Özkan Cantez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akatlar SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özkan Cantez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mari FC's Namık Kemal Uğurata got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kasım Tüzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Namık Kemal Uğurata, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute, Emirşah Tuncalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Mari FC's goalkeeper Vatan Neval had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Muammer Cantez. A collision led to Akatlar SK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Faruk Elmastaş hit a great ball. Şerafettin Tunç, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Mari FC's Vatan Neval played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özkan Cantez in the 23rd minute of play. A hard shot 25 in the game by Muammer Cantez from a close distance when the talented Vatan Neval managed to make a qualified save. Mari FC's players were relieved. In the 38th minute, Gürbüz Timuroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Namık Kemal Uğurata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kasım Tüzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Özkan Cantez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Özkan Cantez was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarkan Yetişbey in the 55th minute of play forced Akatlar SK's goalkeeper Kasım Tüzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Namık Kemal Uğurata succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 58th playminute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tarkan Yetişbey in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kasım Tüzel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tarkan Yetişbey charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tarkan Yetişbey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st match minute, Mari FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarkan Yetişbey to maneuver through the defense. Kasım Tüzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarkan Yetişbey in the 76th minute of the match. Vatan Neval took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özkan Cantez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Akatlar SK's Ahmet Sedat Erentürk got a free kick in the 79th minute. Reis Tozan's late challenge caught a Akatlar SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reis Tozan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Mehmet Hamdi Raif ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vatan Neval was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The referee gave Akatlar SK a penalty, 89 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mehmet Hamdi Raif, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mari FC's Vatan Neval. 3-1. When Özkan Cantez came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Akatlar SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Özkan Cantez couldn't finish the play. Özkan Cantez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Özkan Cantez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mari FC's zone, Özkan Cantez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vatan Neval came out of the goal and Özkan Cantez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
