Mert Avcıoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ertuğrul Ulutaş in the 36th minute of the match. After the first half Battalgazi were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulaş Ergüder to strike the kick off in the second half. If Hayati Şahkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulaş Ergüder in the 53rd minute of play forced ZkNvC's goalkeeper Mert Avcıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Battalgazi walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
