Macit Saffet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mina jk's Aral Cumhur couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Macit Saffet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Derik's supporters rose to their feet, but Macit Saffet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Acar Tapgaç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vehdi Faydalı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acar Tapgaç having to interfere. Akif Emek kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Atabek Arıkal charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atabek Arıkal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davut Akdağ in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esat Sefir saved Derik from getting behind. 32 minutes into the match, Derik's goal looked a bit too open when Davut Akdağ came free, but Esat Sefir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mina jk's Ercüment Bağdaş got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Derik's Vehdi Faydalı got a free kick in the 35th minute. Davut Akdağ scored 0-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Esat Sefir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When Ertaç Değer fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mina jk's protests and gave Ertaç Değer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mina jk getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ertaç Değer hit a great ball. The Mina jk supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mina jk would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
