After 5 minutes of play, Kirikkale's Celalettin Kose made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demiralp Refik was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Korkut Sebuktekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10thth minute of the game Korkut Sebuktekin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eskisehir's Demiralp Refik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celalettin Kose in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demiralp Refik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korkut Sebuktekin in the 16th minute of play forced Eskisehir's goalkeeper Demiralp Refik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demiralp Refik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celalettin Kose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Korkut Sebuktekin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eskisehir's Demiralp Refik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celalettin Kose in the 20th minute of play. Eşref Uygar struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Batı Enver didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eskisehir. 24 minutes into the match, Kirikkale's goal looked a bit too open when Eşref Uygar came free, but Batı Enver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdullatif Ülgen got free with Batı Enver in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Kirikkale getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Halit Tanyel hit a great ball. Battal Cüneyt Vuralhan, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Eşref Uygar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batı Enver having to interfere. Celalettin Kose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Demiralp Refik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demiralp Refik came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Kirikkale's Korkut Sebuktekin. But to his dismay, Korkut Sebuktekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Demiralp Refik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celalettin Kose, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celalettin Kose was the one to do the kick off. Eskisehir's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Celalettin Kose scored to the left of an out of position Demiralp Refik, making the score, 0-3. In the 59thth minute of the game Celalettin Kose who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eskisehir's Demiralp Refik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abdullatif Ülgen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eşref Uygar came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Eskisehir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eşref Uygar couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute Kirikkale were awarded a corner. Zekai Özaltan went to the cornerflag to take it. Abdullatif Ülgen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Korkut Sebuktekin kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Korkut Sebuktekin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Korkut Sebuktekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kirikkale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Korkut Sebuktekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Kirikkale booed when Eskisehir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kubat Saffet didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eskisehir's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zekai Özaltan was slow to take the kick. During this time Kirikkale's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Zekai Özaltan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Demiralp Refik quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kirikkale's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
