Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Istanbul FK's Fuat Bülbül started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fehmi Malik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Fuat Bülbül managed to get in a good position for a shot. Istanbul FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Fuat Bülbül was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boğaç Cansoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th minute, Abdulmelik Okyay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berkan Onsoy kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Boğaç Cansoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fuat Bülbül in the 23rd minute of play. Boğaç Cansoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fuat Bülbül, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fuat Bülbül had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Aralik getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Muhsin Kulan hit a great ball. Fehmi Malik took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boğaç Cansoy. Boğaç Cansoy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Fehmi Malik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Boğaç Cansoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fehmi Malik in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Semih Terzi fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Istanbul FK's protests and gave Semih Terzi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Semih Terzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bayhan Akıncıbeyoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Bayhan Akıncıbeyoğlu hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Gökmen Bayrak sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Istanbul FK's Ahmet Baki Melih didn't even have to move. Fuat Bülbül sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Aralik's Berkan Onsoy got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Aralik's goalkeeper Boğaç Cansoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fehmi Malik struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Boğaç Cansoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Istanbul FK. Fuat Bülbül blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boğaç Cansoy having to make a save. Fuat Bülbül received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Boğaç Cansoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fehmi Malik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fehmi Malik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fuat Bülbül fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boğaç Cansoy having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Fuat Bülbül left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Istanbul FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fehmi Malik in the 91st minute of play forced Aralik's goalkeeper Boğaç Cansoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Aralik's goal looked a bit too open when Fehmi Malik came free, but Boğaç Cansoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Istanbul FK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
