The tension between the Artvin Belediye and the Saricakaya players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Artvin Belediye's Tevfik Cumhur got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Özen Aymaz hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Saricakaya's zone, Ali Kürşat Özyuva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Behram Ilımlı came out of the goal and Ali Kürşat Özyuva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baycan Başarman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Kenan Yıldırım tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Saricakaya's zone, Semi Aksel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Behram Ilımlı came out of the goal and Semi Aksel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Behram Ilımlı made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Semi Aksel sent off a good shot on target. Ali Kürşat Özyuva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Behram Ilımlı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Semi Aksel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Saricakaya's Hurşit Elmacı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenan Yıldırım narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Kürşat Özyuva in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Behram Ilımlı saved Saricakaya from getting behind. Semi Aksel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Behram Ilımlı having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Kürşat Özyuva in the 38th minute of play forced Saricakaya's goalkeeper Behram Ilımlı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Saricakaya's Behram Ilımlı got control of the ball when Semi Aksel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Özen Aymaz charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Özen Aymaz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Özen Aymaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Semi Aksel in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Behram Ilımlı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Kürşat Özyuva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Behram Ilımlı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Kürşat Özyuva in the 56th minute of the match. If Ali Kürşat Özyuva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Saricakaya defense, Semi Aksel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Behram Ilımlı. The Saricakaya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Behram Ilımlı should have stopped the shot. After having played for 81 minutes, Semi Aksel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Artvin Belediye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Semi Aksel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Behram Ilımlı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Kürşat Özyuva in the 86th minute of the match. Semi Aksel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Özen Aymaz kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Artvin Belediye's zone, Hurşit Elmacı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenan Yıldırım came out of the goal and Hurşit Elmacı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Artvin Belediye fully deserved thier win.
