An unexpectedly hard shot by Mücahit Sorgun in the 10th minute of play forced Harmoni İstanbul's goalkeeper Bilgehan Karar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hayyam Kalhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaşar Nuri Yurdaşen in the 14th minute of play. Haşmet Akkın recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute, Sungurhan Okbaş left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Harmoni İstanbul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hayyam Kalhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Haşmet Akkın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hayyam Kalhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haşmet Akkın in the 47th minute of play.

Hayyam Kalhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yaşar Nuri Yurdaşen went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Hayyam Kalhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haşmet Akkın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yaşar Nuri Yurdaşen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Hayyam Kalhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Haşmet Akkın came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Harmoni İstanbul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haşmet Akkın couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, MTK's goal looked a bit too open when Haşmet Akkın came free, but Hayyam Kalhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MTK booed when Harmoni İstanbul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haşmet Akkın didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Haşmet Akkın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harmoni İstanbul's supporters rose to their feet, but Haşmet Akkın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bilgehan Karar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MTK. Mücahit Sorgun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bilgehan Karar having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Harmoni İstanbul's Yaşar Nuri Yurdaşen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hayyam Kalhan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Harmoni İstanbul's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
