Şamil Camcı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mansur Vecid tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mansur Vecid was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Mücahit Sorgun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mücahit Sorgun really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Türkoloji Futbol Kulubü's goalkeeper Mansur Vecid had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şamil Camcı. In the 15th minute, MTK's Mücahit Sorgun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Şamil Camcıs short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Mansur Vecid to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mansur Vecid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mücahit Sorgun in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, MTK's Alpay Ongu got a free kick in the 22nd minute. MTK's Hayyam Kalhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Orhan Lütfi in the 29th minute of play. Şamil Camcı got in the 34th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Mansur Vecid handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Türkoloji Futbol Kulubü's zone, Şamil Camcı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mansur Vecid came out of the goal and Şamil Camcı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Şamil Camcı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansur Vecid having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ali Orhan Lütfi was the one to do the kick off. Mücahit Sorgun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anıl Berk Atabey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Hayyam Kalhan made a huge save. If Anıl Berk Atabey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Namık Türünk hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Anıl Berk Atabey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hayyam Kalhan having to interfere. After having played for 69 minutes, Mücahit Sorgun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MTK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mücahit Sorgun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Türkoloji Futbol Kulubü's Ali Orhan Lütfi in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. MTK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anıl Berk Atabey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Hayyam Kalhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anıl Berk Atabey in the 92nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mücahit Sorgun in the 96th minute of play forced Türkoloji Futbol Kulubü's goalkeeper Mansur Vecid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MTK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Türkoloji Futbol Kulubü had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
