The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Mantar FC's zone, Rüknettin Mirza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erberk Sanak came out of the goal and Rüknettin Mirza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erberk Sanak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alper Giryar, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Ceylanpinar Gücü's Alper Giryar got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alper Giryar came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Ceylanpinar Gücü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alper Giryar couldn't finish the play. After 11 played minutes Mantar FC got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Kağan Ökmen. When Ali Cafer Ayaz came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Mantar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Cafer Ayaz couldn't finish the play. Mantar FC's Erberk Sanak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alper Giryar in the 19th minute of play. When Alper Giryar came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Ceylanpinar Gücü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alper Giryar couldn't finish the play. In the 28thth minute of the game Rüknettin Mirza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mantar FC's Erberk Sanak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ali Cafer Ayaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Ceylanpinar Gücü's Alper Giryar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erberk Sanak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Ahmet Necdet Ustam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erberk Sanak having to interfere. When the match was over Ceylanpinar Gücü could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mantar FC throughout the match.
