Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Karaman's Aygün Tengizalp started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 10 minutes into the game, one of Carapas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 11th minute, Recep Talha Sağanalp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Korkut Dürüst was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Carapas booed when Karaman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vacid Sezginay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haldun Yaves took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rahmi Öge. Rahmi Öge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Carapas's zone, Aygün Tengizalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Korkut Dürüst came out of the goal and Aygün Tengizalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teoman Güler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rahmi Öge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Carapas defense, İshak Tengiroğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Korkut Dürüst. The Carapas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ahmet Korkut Dürüst should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Carapas's Teoman Güler ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rahmi Öge. Rahmi Öge yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Carapas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karaman the free kick. After 45 played minutes Carapas got a freekick which was hit by Erman Salikbey. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haldun Yaves made a kick off. İshak Tengiroğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Karaman's supporters rose to their feet, but İshak Tengiroğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Korkut Dürüst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Carapas fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Carapas's Haldun Yaves looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
