Gs SK's Bülent Tandoğdu got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Erzurum FK's Sefa Bedi got control of the ball when Bülent Tandoğdu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Gs SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yavuz Selim Tekcan to maneuver through the defense. Kamer Mertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şamil Eryilmaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bülent Tandoğdu to make the kick off. In the 90th minute, Erzurum FK's Bektaş Veli Refah ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kamer Mertol. Kamer Mertol yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. In the 96th minute Bülent Tandoğdu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sefa Bedi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Gs SK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
