Karahisar JK's Ali Tükelalp got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gökberk Akbaşak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamdullah Kamuran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gökberk Akbaşak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eser Yazgan in the 19th minute of the match. If Hamdullah Kamuran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Tükelalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Eser Yazgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökberk Akbaşak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ali Tükelalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sertel Beytekin during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sertel Beytekin hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Ziya Necaettin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elazıgspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ziya Necaettin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hamdullah Kamuran helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, Elazıgspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamdullah Kamuran to maneuver through the defense. Elazıgspor's Mustafa Oğuz Gaza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Şefik Usalan in the 92nd minute of play. Elazıgspor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
