The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Engin Sönmez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur in the 6th minute of play. Atabek Koçer got in the 8th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished İbrahim Akçakoca. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-0. Ulaş Hakyemez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Taha Serol came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Hamur SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Taha Serol couldn't finish the play. Şadi Taş's late challenge caught a Hamur SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şadi Taş helped the player get up and apologised. Engin Sönmez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur in the 34th minute of play. When Şadi Taş was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 39 minutes had been played. In the 40th match minute, Sebat SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şadi Taş to maneuver through the defense. Engin Sönmez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulaş Hakyemez, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Engin Sönmez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur in the 45th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Ulaş Hakyemez made a precise shot to the right of Engin Sönmez. Sebat SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 57th minute, but Engin Sönmez got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Sebat SK hanging dry this time. Ulaş Hakyemez in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Engin Sönmez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ali Erdem Yazgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İbrahim Akçakoca having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hamur SK's Taha Serol got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Hamur SK's Engin Sönmez threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ali Erdem Yazgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Hamur SK's Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Taha Serol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Engin Sönmez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hamur SK's Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 99th minute, Ahmet Seyfi Çakmur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hamur SK played a much better game than Sebat SK and deserved their victory. The Sebat SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
