The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Abdi Saygın Gazzal fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AslanFC's protests and gave Abdi Saygın Gazzal a yellow card for diving instead. If Mahmut Çoğan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. AslanFC's Boğaç Eronat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dursun Ali Erginsoy in the 12th minute of play. Boğaç Eronat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dursun Ali Erginsoy in the 14th minute of play. Boğaç Eronat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dursun Ali Erginsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Mahmut Çoğan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Boğaç Eronat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 39 minutes into the game, one of AslanFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 41 minutes, Aladag's Kamer İğdemir got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Boğaç Eronat. If Talat Gencal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dursun Ali Erginsoy to strike the kick off in the second half. AslanFC's Boğaç Eronat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dursun Ali Erginsoy in the 58th minute of play. Aladag's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kamer İğdemir in the 60th minute. The corner ended in Ahmet Kadri Hurmacı almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AslanFC's Boğaç Eronat did a great save. After some careless play in the AslanFC defense, Ahmet Kadri Hurmacı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boğaç Eronat. The AslanFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boğaç Eronat should have stopped the shot. In the 70th match minute, Aladag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dursun Ali Erginsoy to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bilal Ekinoğlu during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes AslanFC got a freekick which was hit by Bilal Ekinoğlu. Boğaç Eronat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Kadri Hurmacı, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Abdi Saygın Gazzal kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Boğaç Eronat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dursun Ali Erginsoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Ahmet Kadri Hurmacı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aladag fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 97th minute Ahmet Kadri Hurmacı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boğaç Eronat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AslanFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
