Arif Egemen Demirman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Tolga Okhan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arif Egemen Demirman. Göktürkler's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tolga Okhan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Şensoy Neyzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamuran Akabe in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Mutlu Şahin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şensoy Neyzen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Arif Egemen Demirman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doğa Kunt in the 21st minute of the match. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Göktürkler's goalkeeper Arif Egemen Demirman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hamdullah Sümer charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hamdullah Sümer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Göktürkler got a freekick which was hit by Hamdullah Sümer. Arif Egemen Demirman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Varol Hasret in the 33rd minute of play. Şensoy Neyzen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mutlu Şahin in the 36th minute. Mutlu Şahin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Şensoy Neyzen made a huge save. Göktürkler's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hamdullah Sümer in the 42nd minute. The corner ended in Gürel Akdurmuş almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Arakli's Şensoy Neyzen did a great save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kamuran Akabe to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Kamuran Akabe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şensoy Neyzen was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Tolga Okhan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arif Egemen Demirman. That made the score 2-2 in the 54 minute of play. When Tolga Okhan came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Arakli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tolga Okhan couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Göktürkler's goal looked a bit too open when Doğa Kunt came free, but Arif Egemen Demirman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 69 played minutes Arakli got a freekick which was hit by Varol Hasret. 71 minutes into the game, Kamuran Akabe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Göktürkler's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arakli the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Arakli's Tolga Okhan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. In the 77th minute, Kamuran Akabe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Şensoy Neyzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamuran Akabe in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Arakli's Doğa Kunt got a free kick in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Arakli's goal looked a bit too open when Kamuran Akabe came free, but Şensoy Neyzen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Mutlu Şahin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Göktürkler fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Nejat Bir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arif Egemen Demirman having to make a save. If Tolga Okhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Göktürkler players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
