Siverekspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Özen Hidayettin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ahmet Baki İhsan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anıl Berk Ülgü in the 25th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Aytek Şamil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Baki İhsan was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Vezirköprü's supporters rose to their feet, but Anıl Berk Ülgü was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Baki İhsan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied.
