In the 5th minute, one of Kurtalan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kurtalan. Sezer Demircioğlu made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Özalp Bucuk sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, TOKAT SPOR's Sezer Demircioğlu threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Feridun Siddik, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dinç Baltacı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Turgut Elmas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sezer Demircioğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feridun Siddik in the 17th minute of play. Enver İğdemir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turgut Elmas having to interfere. TOKAT SPOR's Turgut Elmas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinç Baltacı in the 22nd minute of play. Turgut Elmas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinç Baltacı, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Dinç Baltacı came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Kurtalan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinç Baltacı couldn't finish the play. Kurtalan's Dinç Baltacı got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gani Keskiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turgut Elmas having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Rahmi Yücelay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind TOKAT SPOR's goalkeeper Turgut Elmas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The wind increased when Dinç Baltacı made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Gani Keskiner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kurtalan and the TOKAT SPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gani Keskiner kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Gani Keskiner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of TOKAT SPOR booed when Kurtalan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gani Keskiner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurtalan's Sezer Demircioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürsel İlseven in the 79th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, TOKAT SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Enver İğdemir came free, but Turgut Elmas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Enver İğdemir dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Turgut Elmas, 2-2. Enver İğdemir struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Turgut Elmas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurtalan. TOKAT SPOR's Turgut Elmas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save TOKAT SPOR from getting a goal against them.
