Yüksekova FK's Yıldırım Safvet was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Behzat İsmail in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Yüksekova FK defense, Batıhan Atılay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baykan Taran. The Yüksekova FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baykan Taran should have stopped the shot. Batıhan Atılay struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Baykan Taran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samsunspor FK. Behzat İsmail made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dündar Akburak in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Dündar Akburak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batıhan Atılay in the 31st minute of play forced Yüksekova FK's goalkeeper Baykan Taran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Yüksekova FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erdal Tarık to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Yüksekova FK's goal looked a bit too open when Batıhan Atılay came free, but Baykan Taran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batıhan Atılay in the 37th minute of play forced Yüksekova FK's goalkeeper Baykan Taran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samsunspor FK's Emiliano Hanot got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yıldırım Safvet charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yıldırım Safvet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yıldırım Safvet kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Yavuz Selimhan Canel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samsunspor FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yüksekova FK the free kick. After 43 played minutes Samsunspor FK got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Selimhan Canel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dündar Akburak in the 46th minute of play forced Samsunspor FK's goalkeeper Behzat İsmail to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hidayet Bintuğ made a kick off. Demiralp Altıparmak hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Behzat İsmail prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dündar Akburak succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 58th playminute. Emiliano Hanot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 69 minutes, Emiliano Hanot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samsunspor FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Hanot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Demircan Akburç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rikard Wennersten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baykan Taran having to interfere. With his leg Behzat İsmail managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Yüksekova FK's Hidayet Bintuğ fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 76 played minutes Yüksekova FK got a freekick which was hit by Sinan Sadan. Batıhan Atılay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Baykan Taran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cavit Doğanten in the 88th minute of play forced Yüksekova FK's goalkeeper Baykan Taran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Hanot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Baykan Taran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yüksekova FK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Samsunspor FK had controlled the match.
