Bayındır Nurbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Esenler FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Köksal Demirci fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 18th minute Demircan Nezih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayındır Nurbay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Arın Ferhat Kerem came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Esenler FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arın Ferhat Kerem couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Esenler FK defense, Demircan Nezih kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bayındır Nurbay. The Esenler FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bayındır Nurbay should have stopped the shot. The Ödemis fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Ödemis's Köksal Demirci looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Esenler FK's Bayındır Nurbay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Köksal Demirci in the 65th minute of play.
