The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bayhan Ulvi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mustafa Necati Yahya's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Tan Vefi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Bayhan Ulvi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bayhan Ulvi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa Necati Yahya, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Özalp Tuncaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kafkas FK's Paşa Baysal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercan Asalet in the 14th minute of play. Ercan Asalet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paşa Baysal having to interfere. If Erkin Esentürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bayhan Ulvi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tan Vefi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bayhan Ulvi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tan Vefi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Necati Yahya in the 28th minute of play forced DORUK SK's goalkeeper Bayhan Ulvi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ediz Vala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tan Vefi to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Kafkas FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ercan Asalet came free, but Paşa Baysal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Bayhan Ulvi managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Kafkas FK's Mustafa Necati Yahya fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Tan Vefi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Tan Vefi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayhan Ulvi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, DORUK SK's Bayhan Ulvi got control of the ball when Mustafa Necati Yahya tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, DORUK SK's Barışcan Isfahanlı got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute of the match Emir Çetintürk sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bayhan Ulvi skillfully saved the ball. After 72 played minutes DORUK SK got a freekick which was hit by Barışcan Isfahanlı. DORUK SK's Bayhan Ulvi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tan Vefi in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute of the match, Mustafa Necati Yahya got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bayhan Ulvi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Emir Çetintürk made a great header on Kafkas FK's corner, it was just that DORUK SK's Bayhan Ulvi managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 95th minute, Mustafa Necati Yahya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kafkas FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. The Kafkas FK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kafkas FK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
