After 6 played minutes ilavus spor got a freekick which was hit by Arkın Gazzal. In the 7th minute, Selçuk Himmet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Babadag FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, ilavus spor's Bedih Tara got control of the ball when Selçuk Himmet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bedih Tara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eralp Işık's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the ilavus spor defense, Selçuk Himmet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bedih Tara. The ilavus spor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bedih Tara should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in ilavus spor's zone, Selçuk Himmet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bedih Tara came out of the goal and Selçuk Himmet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oğuzalp Atik's late challenge caught a Babadag FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oğuzalp Atik helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Babadag FK booed when ilavus spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuzalp Atik didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the game, one of Babadag FK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave ilavus spor a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arkın Gazzal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Babadag FK's Ahmet Ali Karlukhan. 2-1. Bedih Tara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sadettin Çiftçioğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Babadag FK's Ecevit Akmanoğlu got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Eralp Işık had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eralp Işık stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Ecevit Akmanoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bedih Tara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selçuk Himmet in the 58th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, ilavus spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sezai Baydan to maneuver through the defense. Babadag FK's Ahmet Ali Karlukhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galip Özdal in the 64th minute of play. Bedih Tara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eralp Işık, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute Selçuk Himmet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bedih Tara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Ali Karlukhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galip Özdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The supporters of ilavus spor booed when Babadag FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eralp Işık didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galip Özdal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Eralp Işık had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 played minutes ilavus spor got a freekick which was hit by Oğuzalp Atik. When Selçuk Himmet came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Babadag FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Selçuk Himmet couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind ilavus spor's goalkeeper Bedih Tara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eralp Işık sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Babadag FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while ilavus spor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
