Acun Kılıçhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Nazimiye's goalkeeper Acun Kılıçhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Selçuk Himmet. If Serbülent Sümer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Babadag FK's Ahmet Ali Karlukhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serbülent Sümer in the 27th minute of play. Ecevit Akmanoğlu hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes Babadag FK got a freekick which was hit by Ecevit Akmanoğlu. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Serbülent Sümer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nazimiye's supporters rose to their feet, but Serbülent Sümer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet Ali Karlukhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hasan Tahsin Süvarioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Ali Karlukhan having to interfere. Ecevit Akmanoğlu was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ecevit Akmanoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eralp Işık to make the kick off. When Sadettin Çiftçioğlu fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Babadag FK's protests and gave Sadettin Çiftçioğlu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nazimiye booed when Babadag FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sadettin Çiftçioğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Nazimiye were awarded a corner. Abdulaziz Vezir went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Abdulaziz Vezir got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ahmet Ali Karlukhan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Serbülent Sümer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nazimiye's Serbülent Sümer got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eralp Işık struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Acun Kılıçhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Babadag FK. When Babadag FK's Eralp Işık in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nazimiye's goalie prevented a goal. If Hasan Tahsin Süvarioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acun Kılıçhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eralp Işık, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 78 played minutes Nazimiye got a freekick which was hit by Ömer Rıza Hanecioğlu. 79 minutes into the match, Nazimiye's goal looked a bit too open when Eralp Işık came free, but Acun Kılıçhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Eralp Işık managed to get in a good position for a shot. Babadag FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Eralp Işık was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Acun Kılıçhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 minutes of play Babadag FK's Sadettin Çiftçioğlu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Babadag FK's Sadettin Çiftçioğlu got a free kick in the 87th minute. Babadag FK's Ahmet Ali Karlukhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Babadag FK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Tahsin Süvarioğlu in the 97th minute of play forced Babadag FK's goalkeeper Ahmet Ali Karlukhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
