Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Acun Salat started the match with the kick off. Sebati Toktimur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fazıl Hüsnü Eren having to interfere. Hakkı Deniz Ertuna scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fazıl Hüsnü Eren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aras Görkem Adar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acun Salat in the 13th minute of the match. İzzettin İlyas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Aras Görkem Adar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Sebati Toktimur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Samsat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palu SK the free kick. Sebati Toktimur kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Palu SK's Fazıl Hüsnü Eren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceyhun Ceberut in the 25th minute of play. Fazıl Hüsnü Eren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakkı Deniz Ertuna, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After having played for 31 minutes, Ceyhun Ceberut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samsat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceyhun Ceberut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd match minute, Palu SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celil Kiram to maneuver through the defense. Fazıl Hüsnü Eren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakkı Deniz Ertuna in the 33rd minute of play. Ceyhun Ceberut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Fazıl Hüsnü Eren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ceyhun Ceberut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fazıl Hüsnü Eren came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Samsat's Hakkı Deniz Ertuna. But to his dismay, Hakkı Deniz Ertuna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Samsat fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Samsat's Hakkı Deniz Ertuna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Samsat's Hakkı Deniz Ertuna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fazıl Hüsnü Eren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Palu SK's zone, Hakkı Deniz Ertuna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fazıl Hüsnü Eren came out of the goal and Hakkı Deniz Ertuna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebati Toktimur's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Eren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ceyhun Ceberuts short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Fazıl Hüsnü Eren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aras Görkem Adar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İzzettin İlyas in the 70th minute of play. İzzettin İlyas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aras Görkem Adar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Ceyhun Ceberut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fazıl Hüsnü Eren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Palu SK booed when Samsat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabit Şinas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, İzzettin İlyas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palu SK's supporters rose to their feet, but İzzettin İlyas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aras Görkem Adar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Palu SK's zone, Hakkı Deniz Ertuna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fazıl Hüsnü Eren came out of the goal and Hakkı Deniz Ertuna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Palu SK's goalkeeper Fazıl Hüsnü Eren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceyhun Ceberut. Samsat's Hakkı Deniz Ertuna got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samsat played a much better game than Palu SK and deserved their victory. The Palu SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
