An unexpectedly hard shot by Yıldırım Paksoy in the 31st minute of play forced Palu SK's goalkeeper Fazıl Hüsnü Eren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fazıl Hüsnü Eren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şerif Ergümen's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Fazıl Hüsnü Eren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şerif Ergümen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute of the match Samsun JK got a corner. Palu SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dorukhan Acıbadem ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Dorukhan Acıbadem got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fazıl Hüsnü Eren quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 38th minute, Yıldırım Paksoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yıldırım Paksoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Palu SK's Fazıl Hüsnü Eren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yıldırım Paksoy in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Acun Salat stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yıldırım Paksoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fazıl Hüsnü Eren having to interfere. Acun Salat charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Acun Salat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Palu SK's Fazıl Hüsnü Eren got control of the ball when Şerif Ergümen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fazıl Hüsnü Eren made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Şerif Ergümen sent off a good shot on target. When Celil Kiram fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palu SK's protests and gave Celil Kiram a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Samsun JK booed when Palu SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celil Kiram didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match, Yıldırım Paksoy tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fazıl Hüsnü Eren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match was over Samsun JK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Palu SK throughout the match.
