If Şentürk Özsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yıldırım Paksoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şentürk Acaroğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. A collision led to Samsun JK getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Asım Ayıkoğlu hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Zülfikar Sarıalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müfit Tanyeri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceyhan Cansun scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Şentürk Acaroğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Şerif Ergümen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Şentürk Acaroğlu. Go Fitness Uzunköprü's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şerif Ergümen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 36 minutes into the match, Go Fitness Uzunköprü's Batuhan Şahinter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Müfit Tanyeri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Go Fitness Uzunköprü's Şentürk Acaroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yıldırım Paksoy in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Go Fitness Uzunköprü's goalkeeper Şentürk Acaroğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şerif Ergümen. Şentürk Acaroğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yıldırım Paksoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zülfikar Sarıalp made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Zülfikar Sarıalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Go Fitness Uzunköprü's supporters rose to their feet, but Zülfikar Sarıalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şentürk Acaroğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bahattin Tengiroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Müfit Tanyeri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zülfikar Sarıalp in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute, Ceyhan Cansun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şentürk Acaroğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After having played for 86 minutes, Şentürk Özsan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Go Fitness Uzunköprü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şentürk Özsan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Şerif Ergümen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Go Fitness Uzunköprü's Şentürk Acaroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahattin Tengiroğlu in the 93rd minute of play. Şentürk Acaroğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yıldırım Paksoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Samsun JK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
