Gaziantepspor's Doğuş Tutuş got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If İsmail Baştuğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gaziantepspor's Dursun Ali Hükümran got a free kick in the 14th minute. İsmail Baştuğ hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Demirhan Akansel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İsmail Baştuğ in the 22nd minute of play. Gaziantepspor's Doğuş Tutuş got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Gaziantepspor's Mikail Ruşen got control of the ball when Kutlay Eraslan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27thth minute of the game Doğuş Tutuş who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kuru Fasülye Pilav's Demirhan Akansel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th match minute, Gaziantepspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsmail Baştuğ to maneuver through the defense. İsmail Baştuğ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kuru Fasülye Pilav's Demirhan Akansel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğuş Tutuş in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute of the match Rüstem Budun sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Demirhan Akansel skillfully saved the ball. Doğuş Tutuş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demirhan Akansel having to interfere. Demirhan Akansel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsmail Baştuğ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doğuş Tutuş stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gaziantepspor's zone, Kutlay Eraslan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikail Ruşen came out of the goal and Kutlay Eraslan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 56 played minutes Kuru Fasülye Pilav got a freekick which was hit by Özer Usare. 57 minutes into the match, Doğuş Tutuş dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Demirhan Akansel, 0-1. Ali Galip Vuralhan hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes, Kuru Fasülye Pilav's Akay Özilter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mikail Ruşen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kuru Fasülye Pilav reached it. In the 75th minute of the match Selçuk Türehan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mikail Ruşen skillfully saved the ball. Gaziantepspor's Doğuş Tutuş got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğuş Tutuş in the 78th minute of play forced Kuru Fasülye Pilav's goalkeeper Demirhan Akansel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gaziantepspor booed when Kuru Fasülye Pilav was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cenk İsiman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Kuru Fasülye Pilav fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gaziantepspor were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
