In the 18th minute, Cengiz Tuncel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Cengiz Tuncel came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Kangal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cengiz Tuncel couldn't finish the play. Daday SK's Nurettin Canbulat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuncer Şanver in the 21st minute of play. Nurettin Canbulat made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Hamza İltemir sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Daday SK's Nurettin Canbulat got control of the ball when Tuncer Şanver tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Daday SK's goal looked a bit too open when Tuncer Şanver came free, but Nurettin Canbulat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kayacan Teksoy charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kayacan Teksoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Kayacan Teksoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Tuncer Şanver made the kick off in the second half. Nurettin Canbulat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cengiz Tuncel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Selmi Işıldar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Asaf Özsu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ahmet Ege Tezkan. The goal made the score 1-1. After 65 minutes of play, Kangal's Cengiz Tuncel made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nurettin Canbulat was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Daday SK's goalkeeper Nurettin Canbulat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cengiz Tuncel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Nurettin Canbulat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kangal's Selmi Işıldar got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Cengiz Tuncel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kangal's supporters rose to their feet, but Cengiz Tuncel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nurettin Canbulat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Tuncer Şanver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nurettin Canbulat was relentless in the 85th minute of the game.
